A N I T Y Embrace The Science of Wellbeing & Holistic Botanical Skin Care
At Anity, we believe that true wellbeing goes beyond skincare—it’s a balance of physiological health, emotional resilience, and self-worth.
Our in-house research, alongside findings in psychodermatology and neuroscience, confirms that mind-body wellness is deeply interconnected, with skincare rituals playing a measurable role in reducing stress and promoting emotional balance.
Our Research- The Link Between Skin Health & Mental Wellbeing
Studies show that stress-induced cortisol spikes weaken skin barrier function and accelerate inflammation (Linder, 2016). Chronic stress also impacts collagen production and cellular repair, contributing to premature aging (Arck et al., 2010).In our Anity research, we’ve explored the effects of targeted bioactive ingredients on reducing oxidative stress, reinforcing the skin’s barrier, and promoting a calming sensory experience to counteract environmental aggressors.
Our findings align with existing research that mindful skincare rituals help activate the parasympathetic nervous system, reducing stress hormones and enhancing dopamine and serotonin production (Azevedo et al., 2017).
The Science of Self-Worth & Sensory Care (See our Wellness page)
Tactile self-care, such as skincare application, has been shown to stimulate oxytocin release, fostering emotional connection and self-worth (Uvnas-Moberg, 1998).Aromatherapy compounds like geranium and chamomile influence limbic system activity, aiding relaxation and reducing anxiety (Kuroda et al., 2005).
At Anity, our ongoing sensory research examines the psychological effects of aroma profiles—showing how specific natural aroma compositions can lower cortisol levels, induce calmness, and enhance subjective feelings of wellbeing during skincare routines.
Through extensive testing and development, Anity integrates bioactive botanical ingredients that support skin vitality while enhancing neurological balance. Our research confirms that adaptogenic herbal extracts help regulate stress responses and improve emotional stability (Panossian & Wikman, 2010).Antioxidants, such as vitamin C and polyphenols, protect cellular structures against oxidative damage, strengthening the skin while also benefiting overall wellbeing (Pizzino et al., 2017).
At Anity We Prioritize Your Skin and Personal Wellbeing—Every Day
Through our own research and collaboration with leading wellness studies, we continuously develop products that enhance skin health and support emotional equilibrium, proving that wellbeing is an essential part of beauty.
